By creating an account and using Spades, you agree to abide by these terms and guidelines. Spades is provided as-is for character storage, sharing, and community engagement.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. If you suspect unauthorized use, please contact support immediately.

You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent bans, rules, or community guidelines. Spam accounts and duplicate registrations will be removed without warning.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these guidelines. Users may appeal bans through emailing @conralaura@gmail.com, though decisions are final at the discretion of administrators.

Only upload content you own or have created. This includes character designs, artwork, writing, and any original creative work. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the rights to upload and share any content you post.

You are allowed to upload your own interpretations of public domain and canonical characters from existing media (books, films, games, etc.). However, you must clearly indicate the source and understand that you do not own the copyright to the original character.

You may NOT upload the original characters (OCs), designs, or creative work of other users without explicit written permission from the original creator. This includes fan characters, adoptables, or any derivative work created by another user.

Always provide proper attribution to artists, writers, and creators whose work you include. If artwork is commissioned or created by someone else, credit them appropriately. Failure to credit original creators may result in content removal.

Fanart is permitted, but you must own the rights to the artwork itself. If you commission an artist, ensure you have permission to upload and share the finished piece on Spades.

NSFW (Not Safe For Work) content includes sexually explicit material, nudity, and other adult content. All NSFW content MUST be properly flagged using the platform's content filter system. Failure to flag NSFW content will result in removal and potential account action.

The following content is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal and account suspension:

• Any sexual or suggestive content involving minors or non-sapient creatures

All NSFW content must be created with consenting adults. Characters must appear and be presented as adults (18+) in any sexual or suggestive scenarios.

Users under 18 may not view NSFW-flagged content. If you are under 18, you must use appropriate content filters.

The following content is strictly prohibited on Spades:

• AI-Generated Content: Character designs, artwork, or writing generated by AI tools (including ChatGPT, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, etc.) are not permitted. Spades is intended for human-created works only.
• Hateful Content: Content that promotes discrimination, hatred, or violence based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
• Copyright Infringement: Unauthorized distribution of copyrighted material beyond fair use
• Personal Information: Doxxing, sharing private contact information, or non-consensual personal details about real people
• Harassment & Bullying: Targeted harassment, cyberbullying, or coordinated attacks on individuals or groups

Treat all community members with respect and kindness. Spades is a creative community, and we expect users to foster a welcoming environment.

No Spam or Flooding: Do not spam the platform with duplicate characters, low-effort content, repetitive messages, or flood the feed. This includes creating bulk test accounts.

No Advertising: Self-promotion is acceptable within limits (e.g., linking to commissions, social media), but excessive advertising, spam links, or harmful external link promotion is prohibited.

Respectful Disagreement: You may disagree with others, but do so respectfully. Personal attacks, insults, and aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.

No Impersonation: Do not impersonate other users, creators, or public figures. This includes using someone else's name, avatar, or profile information to deceive others.

iIf you believe content on Spades violates your rights or these guidelines, please contact tripleeclipse777@gmail.com with details and evidence. We will investigate all reports of:

• Stolen character designs or original content
• Copyright infringement
• Harassment or threatening behavior
• Improperly flagged NSFW content
• Abuse of platform features

We will take appropriate action based on our investigation. This may include content removal, user suspension, or permanent bans.

Your account information and uploaded content are stored securely. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

If you delete your account, your content will be permanently removed from our servers immediately.

Spades is provided on an "as-is" basis without warranties. We are not responsible for data loss, service interruptions, or damages resulting from platform use.

Users assume all risk associated with uploading and sharing content. We are not liable for unauthorized access, deletion, or misuse of your content by third parties.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue Spades at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for major changes.
