About

Affliated (The leader of) a group called the Dust Devils. Sheriff leads a group that acts like a twisted version of law enforcement. They don’t protect people. They decide who deserves to go and then make it happen. They treat murder like it’s justice, but the rules are completely their own.

His gear (The Sherrif's Flintlock) is something he is infamous for. He is known to be a quick draw, and he has deadly aim. He has unnaturally fast reflexes. Known for clean, quiet kills. Almost no witnesses. People go missing instead of dying publicly.

He is very polite. Like actually polite. He says please and thank you. He holds doors. Then he will kill someone ten minutes later with zero hesitation; He genuinely believes he is doing something important. Not good, but necessary. He views his extermination of those he views as evil as a gift to those he cares about, especially his brother.

A dust devil is small, quiet, and easy to miss at first. But it still moves things, still changes the environment, still leaves a mark. That’s exactly how they operate. People say: “If you see them clearly, it’s already too late."

The Dust Devils are a quiet, controlled outlaw group led by Sheriff, known more for making people disappear than for causing open chaos. They do not raid or attack loudly, instead they isolate targets, split groups apart, and remove individuals with almost no trace left behind. Their name comes from the way they operate, like a dust devil that seems small and easy to ignore but still shifts everything in its path before vanishing.

They take contracts for assassinations and tracking, but they also choose their own targets based on Sheriff’s personal sense of who needs to be dealt with. The group is organized into trusted core members called Spurs, who handle precise roles like tracking and cleanup, and lower members called Drifters who are used for riskier jobs and often do not know the full plan. They communicate very little during missions and rely on subtle signals, making their movements feel almost unnatural. Their style focuses on control rather than direct combat, cutting off escape routes and removing allies before finishing the main target. To outsiders, they are unsettling because nothing about them is loud or dramatic, yet entire people and problems simply stop existing after they pass through.

Personality

Sheriff comes off strangely light and pleasant at first, like someone who doesn’t take much seriously. He smiles easily, speaks politely, and carries himself with an almost playful energy that makes people lower their guard without realizing it. ESFP.

He is consistently well-mannered, even in tense situations. He says please, thanks people for their time, and rarely interrupts, which makes it even more unsettling when you remember what he’s capable of.

Underneath that, he has a very short fuse, but it doesn’t show in obvious ways. His anger builds quietly, stacking up behind that same calm tone until it tips over all at once.
